Bridge & Bloom is hosted by the Arkansas State University Occupational Therapy Program in collaboration with The Center for Exceptional Families.
Bridge & Bloom is a free summer day camp open for adults (18+) with intellectual disabilities, providing a fun and supportive environment to explore new hobbies and activities. Every week, activities will be offered that explore something new including arts, music, sports, cooking, and more!
The first day camp will be held at Temple Baptist Church. All remaining sessions will take place on the Arkansas State University Campus. Detailed location information is provided on the Participant Inquiry Form.
Camp sessions run every Saturday from 1pm-4pm, beginning June 28th and continuing through August 1st (6 weeks total).
Bridge & Bloom is a great opportunity for adults with intellectual disabilities to build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with others in a welcoming community. Participants can attend as many Saturdays as they like. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged! We are also seeking volunteers (age 18+) to assist with activities and help create a positive experience for all attendees.
This event is completely free of charge.
To become a participant or volunteer, please reach out to Peyton Summers at 870-926-9047 or visit the Facebook page.
