W.O.W. - Women on the Water Weekend
Starts July 23 at 1pm and runs through July 25 at 10am
Register by July 7

Women on the Water weekend is 2 full days of outdoor related activities in the Ozarks, geared to connect you to nature and sharpen those outdoor skills. These events will take place at the Fred Berry Conservation Education Center and Bull Shoals-White River State Park on July 23-July 25. Enjoy camping at the education center, state park or a less rigorous stay at one of the local hotels.

Activities for this weekend include snorkeling, kayaking, astronomy, Dutch oven cooking, fly fishing, fly tying, smallmouth bass fishing, exploring three different bodies of water and much more. Most of the supplies for this weekend will be provided by Becoming an Outdoor Woman (BOW) and the Fred Berry Conservation Education Center, however, there are a few expenses that are the participants responsibility. Participants must also have a valid fishing license with trout permit.

Registration is required for this event and the deadline to register is July 7th. This event is being put on by Elizabeth Kimble, Educator at the Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center. Forrest L. Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center is located at 600 East Lawson Road in Jonesboro, just past Craighead Forest Park.
